Books
The school library staff has pulled over 70 books related to your research topics. These books are located on a book cart that your teacher will make accessible to you during class. While you may NOT check out the books during the project (because other classes are also using them) you are more than welcome to visit the school library during NEST to access these books.
If you cannot find any books on the cart that are helpful for your topic, don't hesitate to ask your school librarian, Mrs. V, for help.

Online Databases
It can be difficult to find RELIABLE electronic resources, especially when using websites. For instance, MOST websites with web addresses that end in .com are NOT reliable. The best way to ensure that you're using reliable electronic resources is to use the online databases.

HOW TO LOG INTO THE DATABASES:

If you're on a school computer, you will just select South River High as your location and you wil not need to provide login information.
If you're on a home computer, you will need to use the following login information:
USERNAME: AACPS Student ID #
PASSWORD: Last 4 digits of AACPS Student ID #
EXAMPLE: If your AACPS Student ID # was 123456, then your username would be 123456 and your password would be 3456.
Once you are logged in, you need to click on Databases on the menu on the left side of the screen. You will then see all of the available databases. Scroll down to find one of the recommended databases (provided above) and click "Open Now" next to the database you'd like to visit.
